Charlotte Ardizzone, NEAC (1943-2012) was a well known painter of landscapes, interiors and still life subjects. Born in London, niece of Edward Ardizzone, she studied at St Martin's School of Art 1960 and the Byam Shaw Art School 1961. She exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1964, with the New English Art Club from 1975, of which she became a member, and at other leading galleries including the Royal West of England Academy. Ardizzone had many solo shows including at Drian Galleries, Blond Fine Art, Bohun Gallery, and The Curwen Gallery. She lived and worked in London for many years, and later in Norfolk and south-west France. Her work is held in a number of public collections.
