Description: A framed original oil painting on board, signed by the artist lower right. It isn't titled by the artist but is clearly a view along the Kent coast at Broadstairs looking towards Bleak House, the one time holiday home of the author Charles Dickens. The painting is likely to date to the early 1950s when Donald Greig was living in Broadstairs, prior to him moving to Devon in 1954. The painting is in good original condition for its age. It is housed in a relatively simple wooden frame, which suits it well, although the frame may be a later addition.
