Peter Carreras (1921-2019) was a well known artist, noted especially for his printmaking. He was born in London and spent much of his life in Worthing, West Sussex. He took up printmaking later in life and studied at Putney School of Art from 1985 and at Northbrook College in Worthing. An exhibition of his work was held in 2008 at St Anne’s Gallery, in High Street, Lewes, East Sussex. The artist donated much of his work to the Sussex Heritage Trust.
