Born in 1949 to a Cornish father and educated in Jersey. Originally trained as a commercial artist and illustrator. David produced design and artwork for the printing trade in the early 1970s. He began painting in the 1980s. Aside from a short spell living and working in France, David has spent his whole life working in Jersey. He teaches regular classes in his studio Henley at Holme in the parish of Grouville. Exhibited in the Channel Islands and Internationally, painting mainly in watercolour.
