E Maurice Feild (1905-1988) was a painter and printmaker, closely associated with the Euston Road School. He studied art at the Slade School in the 1920s and taught there later in life, after some years teaching art at The Downs School, Malvern, and later at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts after the War. His work is held in the Government Art Collection. His friend Sir William Coldstream helped him to organise a retrospective at the Upper Grosvenor Galleries in 1970. Feild's work was also shown at the Cooling Gallery and Walker's Galleries in London. His pictures are invariably signed and titled by him verso. Maurice Feild lived in London.
