Jane MacMiadhachain (born 1950, née Suzan Jane Hobday) is a well-known painter mainly of abstract subjects. She studied art at Norwich School of Art 1973-74, West Surrey College of Art and Design 1974-77 (textiles), and Portsmouth School of Art 1988-91. She lived in St Ives, Cornwall 1995-97 and in 1997 she married the artist Padraig MacMiadhachain in Penzance. Her work has been shown extensively, especially with Belgrave St Ives, Penwith Gallery,  Wills Lane Gallery, Salthouse Gallery, The New Millennium Gallery St Ives, and in London with Lena Boyle Fine Art, the New Academy Gallery,  and Cadogan Contemporary.
