Stephen Bartlett (born 1942) is a well-known printmaker and painter of abstract subjects. He studied art at the Royal College of Art in London 1960-64 where he was awarded a Silver Medal and the College Prize. On his graduation he won a Travelling Scholarship to Italy which took him away for twelve months. On his return he was a visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art Kensington, at Homsey College of Art, and then at Kingston Polytechnic (now KUL - Kingston University London). From 1968-1981 Stephen Bartlett was a partner at the BIB Design Consultants in London after which he established the Fine Art Studio. He has exhibited his work extensively in the UK and abroad including regularly at the Anderson O'Day Gallery in the Portobello Road, west London, and The Bohun Gallery in Henley-on-Thames. One of his paintings is held in the Alfred East Gallery in Kettering, Northamptonshire.
