Title: 'Dinner in Soho'

Description: A framed original oil painting on canvas, titled on the label verso, and signed and dated indistinctly lower right (the date is probably (19)68).  There is an exhibition number '11' on the reverse and a note that at one time the painting belonged to Dennis Townsend, whom we think must be the well-known studio potter of that time who lived in Rye, close to the home of the painter Diana Low. The work is housed in a simple wooden frame which we think is the original one. It is in reasonable condition for its age. The painting appears to be in untouched original condition.

Size: About 15.1 x 12.5 inches (about 38 x 32 cm) canvas size; and 20.2 x 18.0 inches framed size (about 51.3 x 45 cm)
