Title: 'Floral Studies' a group of four works, in the form of greetings cards, offered together as one 'lot'

Description: Four unframed original works on paper drawn in crayon in various colours, all bar one (the 'very many happy returns' card) is hand signed by the artist recto 'Nessler'. The recipient of these cards is believed to be a Mr W. Sternfeld and although these cards are undated, they are believed to be from the late 1970s. The 'Very many happy returns' card is inscribed by the artist inside and is hand signed by him there 'from Walter and Erica Nessler'. All of the works are in very good or good condition. The card with the 'red bow' has light discolouration to the edges of the paper and a light small crease to the lower left corner. The largest work has a 4cm long and narrow 0.4 cm strip of discolouration to the edge of the card at top left, which would be covered if the work was mounted or framed.
