Terence Gravett (born 1938, Surrey) is a well known printmaker and painter based in Ireland since 1990. He trained as a painter and lithographer and started to make screenprints in the 1960s. After teaching for some years in London he moved to Brighton in the 1970s and spent time working at the University of Brighton. He has exhibited internationally, including at the British International Print Biennales at Bradford since 1972 and the Ljubljana Print Biennale and Krakow Biennale in Poland. Terence Gravett's work is held in a number of public collections, including The Victoria & Albert Museum; The Ulster Museum; The Contemporary Arts Society, Dublin; and the Arts Council collections of both England and Northern Ireland. He settled in County Galway in 1998.
