Description: An original oil painting on canvas titled on the stretcher bar verso 'Tarring Neville' which is a small village near Newhaven in East Sussex. The work is fully signed by the artist at lower left 'S. Dennant Moss'. Moss painted regularly in Sussex and Kent. Although not dated we think this painting is from the late 1930s or early 1940s. We have had the work cleaned professionally and it is in good order. The frame has some age and is also in satisfactory order with some fairly minor marks.
Size: About 20.2 x 24.2 inches canvas size and about 24.2 x 28.2 inches framed size
