Description: A view at Rye Harbour on the Sussex coast, probably painted when the artist was living at Seaford in East Sussex. It is pencil signed and titled 'Rye Harbour' at lower left and is likely to date to the 1950s. It is painted on watermarked Michallet, France artist's paper. It has the Abbott and Holder label verso with their stock number from about forty years ago. The work is glazed and it has a good quality wash lined mount fitted. The frame is in very good order and the watercolour is in generally good condition for its age.
