Description: A framed original painting in gouache and watercolour of an historical / fantastical view of an imaginary coastal scene with a horse and carriage from Georgian times. The work also incorporates an image of a penny farthing cycle which wasn't actually invented until 1871. 

The painting is in good condition and is likely to date to the 1960s. There is an old label verso which gives the title of the work, the then price of £25-0-0 (thus pre decimal) and the artist's name and address of 4, School Road, Aberlady. However, the artist's surnmae is given as 'Cumming' without the 's'. The label may have been typed by someone else at that time. The image is in good original condition.

Size: About 6.0 x 18.2 inches image size plus the original frame.
